Belmont House has stood on Lansdown Road since 1756, when John Wood the Elder was remaking Bath in Palladian stone. Seven guest rooms, recently refurbished, with the period features left where they belong.

Annie and Archie have kept it a no-smoking house, and will happily talk you through the walk into town before you set off.
